Our jams are pay what you like—or nothing at all. Our shows are £5 and booking in advance is recommended as they often sell out.

Barnstormers grew out of the Tuesday night Improv Discovery sessions in Thame, bringing together a core group of regulars into a committed performance team. Their format-in-discovery is Hangar High: The comedy of everything left unsaid. In the quiet moments of ordinary life, our inner worlds are anything but ordinary. Hangar High cracks them open—revealing the longings, frustrations, and absurd poetry we all carry just beneath the surface. It’s bold, funny, and unexpectedly moving. Characters expose their hearts not to each other, but to the audience—because some truths are too raw, too ridiculous, or too revealing to say out loud. You’ll laugh because it’s honest.
